Ken & Karen Yarbrough have lived in Flagler County for thirty years. Karen has held her Florida Brokers license for nine years and specializes in coastal, resort communities like Lakeside at Matanzas Shores, Surf Club and Hammock Dunes. Karen has spent her entire adult life in customer service and it shows. She has a passion for Northeast Florida and introducing newcomers to the area’s charms. Karen moved to the area from Newburgh, New York when Palm Coast was still a one-traffic light town. She has watched the area grow from its infancy to one of Florida’s most desirable places to call home. Karen enjoys sailing, fishing and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Ginger. Ken Yarbrough has held a Florida Brokers license since 2001. He specializes in commercial transactions and business brokerage, and like Karen, is passionate about Northeast Florida. In addition to real estate brokerage, Ken has also published a local real estate magazine, Homes & Land of St. Augustine for twenty-one years, among other publications. Ken is a 100-Ton, USCG Licensed Captain. He spends his spare time as a charter captain in St. Augustine at St. Augustine Sailing, and running his own boat here in Hammock Beach. Ken moved to Florida from his native Arkansas in 1998. He sailed the entire Florida coastline before landing in the St. Johns/Flagler County area which he considers “The Jewel of the State”.
