“Life is a Beach” Contest

Hammock Dunes has two amazingly beautiful private beaches, but you wouldn’t know it from their names! Yes, you know exactly what we mean: Comfort Beach and Clicker Beach. Obviously, Comfort is a constant reminder of the restroom facilities near the walk-over, and Clicker Beach was named, ostensibly, because you need to use a remote to access the parking area at the beach. These current names of our beaches do not fairly reflect the creativity or allure of Hammock Dunes. And while this may not be the most important issue Hammock Dunes is dealing with, the HDOA Marketing Committee thinks this community can certainly come up with better names and have some fun in the process. SO, we are offering a $50 gift card to the resident that comes up with the best name for each Beach. Nominations for new names are being accepted immediately. Name one—Name them both! Contest ends June 15th, The winning names will be recommended by the Strategic Planning Committee and approved by the HDOA Board at the June 21st meeting. Happy Naming!
